Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Reading, PA is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper for a busy office in the Reading area. This is your opportunity to become a part of a team with one of Berks County's top employers!!

You will manage the general ledger, process AP/AR, and prepare payroll for W-2/1099 staff, along with preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and performing month-end close.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of full charge bookkeeping experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in accounting preferred.
• Detail oriented with strong problem solving skills.
• Experience with QuickBooks and Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage general ledger, and process AP and AR transactions.
• Prepare and process payroll for W-2 and 1099 associates.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements as well as managing month end and year end closing.
• Other duties as assigned.
