BLS in Delaware invites a results-driven Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our Wilmington headquarters. You will manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients, including GL maintenance, month-end close, bank reconciliations, and inventory tracking.

You will oversee AR/AP and payroll processes (with ADP/Paylocity support), guide and review workflows, and ensure accurate financial reporting. Travel to client sites is required occasionally, with on-site work as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients or a company where you manage it all (not just AR or just AP).
• Public accounting experience? Even better! You know how to juggle multiple clients like a pro.
• A knack for tech—QuickBooks, Excel, report writing, and Power BI knowledge are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keeping multiple clients financially on track with full-cycle bookkeeping—from GL maintenance and month-end close to bank reconciliations and inventory tracking.
• Overseeing AR/AP & Payroll—you know the process inside and out, but you won't be manually processing invoices or running payroll. You'll guide, review, and ensure smooth operations.
• Being a tech-savvy rockstar—you can navigate QuickBooks (or similar software) with ease, leverage Excel like a pro, and even work with Power BI.
• Client-facing & educational—interact with clients, help them understand their books, and explain financial reports to non-accountants.
• Working on-site when needed—must be local and open to occasional client visits.
