Job description

The Full Charge Bookkeeper / Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Accounts Payable team and ensuring the timely processing of the company’s payables. In addition, this role will have responsibilities for Bank Reconciliations, account reconciliations and journal entries. This position must be able to work under tight deadlines, be detail orientated, troubleshoot and enjoy working in a team focused work environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Oversee the processing and payment of accounts payable invoices
2. Manage, review and audit invoices entered into the system for accuracy
3. Analyze feasibility of discounts related to timing of payments
4. Review and process Expense Reports, assist employees with questions on expense report entry
5. Code and enter credit card statements monthly
6. Reconcile monthly Owner Operator Insurance invoice
7. Review weekly check runs
8. Lead processing of Owner Operator weekly payments
9. Assist Controller with monthly reconciliations/management of fuel card payments and fuel tank inventory
10. Support monthly accounting close via accruals and recurring journal entries
11. Maintain accurate daily cash report, to include reconciling items to bank balance
12. Assist with monthly bank reconciliations
13. Prepare 1099s for multiple entities
14. Prepare and maintain accurate records for annual audits
15. Assist Controller and CFO with other accounting duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)
2. At least 5 years of accounts payable experience
3. Sage Intacct and Trimble(TMW/TMT) Experience a plus
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5. Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize assignments
6. Strong diligence and exceptional organizational skills
7. High School Diploma or equivalent required
