Responsibilities:

  • Manage all day-to-day financial tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Manage bank accounts and reconciliations.
  • Create comprehensive financial reports to guide decision-making.
  • Monitor financial transactions and generate insightful reports.
  • Collaborate with accountants to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and review ledgers to maintain financial integrity.
  • Contribute to creating, managing, and analyzing sales projections.
  • Assist with HR-related matters.
  • Provide weekly financial performance reports to management.
  • Conduct monthly billing for our real estate company.
  • Handle weekly and monthly journal entries.

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of general accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • At least five years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with accounting software; Centerpoint SW experience is a PLUS.
  • Ability to prepare, review, and understand financial statements.
  • Ability to prepare special reports in Excel.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing using Paychex is a PLUS.
  • Real estate experience is a PLUS.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000-$75,000

Benefits: 401(k), Health insurance/Dental, Paid time off

Physical Setting: Office

Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Work Location: Hauppauge, NY 11788 (In-person)
