Qualifications

• AZPOST Full Authority certifications.
• Weapons certification according to AZPOST standards.

Responsibilities

• Screening commercial driver/vehicle credentials and weighing vehicles.
• Performing enhanced vehicle identity inspections and safety inspections.
• Issuing permits, routing oversize loads, and collecting fees.
• Enforcing state and federal laws; making arrests when required.
• Completing clear reports and testifying in court when needed.
