Job summary

Vireo Health, Inc. in Oakland, CA is seeking a Fulfillment Warehouse Associate to support daily operations in our on-demand cannabis delivery fulfillment warehouse.

You will pick and pack orders, ensure quality before shipment, and keep the workspace organized for safety and efficiency. As you grow, you’ll gain responsibility—from inventory management and driver equipment organization to training new associates, and eventually taking on Manager on Duty duties with opening/closing procedures.

Qualifications

• Sales or customer service experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality.
• At 6+ months tenure: delivery, fulfillment, retail, customer service, or hospitality experience.
• At 12+ months tenure: 1+ years of experience in delivery, fulfillment, retail, customer service, or hospitality, with prior Eaze experience considered.
• At 24-36+ months tenure: 2+ years of experience managing a team and proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suite, with prior Eaze experience considered.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds infrequently.
• Open availability: 7 days a week, 365 days a year, with evening and weekend hours as needed.
• At least 21 years of age to work in a dispensary per state law.
• Ability to read instructions and input data into computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Compensation: $19.09-21.34 per hour depending on experience

What the role is about:

This role supports daily operations at a fulfillment warehouse for an on-demand cannabis delivery service, serving as the logistics and execution arm that keeps operations consistent with company goals and objectives. You will efficiently pick and pack orders according to company procedures, ensuring all items meet quality standards before shipment. You will keep your work area clean and organized for safety and efficiency, use management systems to track inventory levels and order fulfillment, and work closely with team members to optimize workflow and meet daily delivery and sales goals.

What impact you’ll make:

You will be expected to continuously develop your skills and expand your capabilities as you progress in your role. The schedule below outlines how your responsibilities and growth will evolve based on total tenure.

Total tenure: 6+ months

• Organize inventory and process delivery orders
• Organize and distribute driver equipment

Total tenure: 12+ months

• Be fully trained in inventory management, including system adjustments and receiving product
• Be fully trained on cash handling procedures and on delivery operations and systems
• Train new associates

Total tenure: 24-36+ months

• Take on Manager on Duty responsibilities, such as opening and closing procedures
• Identify and elevate corrective actions and performance issues to the Manager
• Monitor and respond to communication channels and support tickets
• Ensure all health, safety, and regulatory guidelines are followed

What you’ve accomplished:

• Sales experience in a retail store environment preferred, but not required
• Customer service experience in restaurant, hospitality, or retail
• At 6+ months of tenure: delivery, fulfillment, retail, customer service, or hospitality industry experience
• At 12+ months of tenure: 1+ years of experience in delivery, fulfillment, retail, customer service, or hospitality, with prior Eaze experience considered
• At 24-36+ months of tenure: 2+ years of experience managing a team and proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suite, with prior Eaze experience considered
• Reliable, punctual, dependable, and trustworthy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Open availability: we operate 7 days a week, 365 days a year, with evening and weekend hours as needed by the business
• At least 21 years of age to work in a dispensary per state law
• Positive attitude that creates a positive work environment
• Attention to detail, with clear written and verbal communication
• Ability to move products with appropriate equipment to and from the backroom
• Ability to place and arrange products on all shelves and racks daily
• Ability to climb and descend ladders while carrying products daily
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds infrequently
• Ability to be on your feet for at least 8 hours per shift and move continuously around all areas of the warehouse daily
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, or balance for a duration of time daily
• Ability to read instructions, reports, and information on computer and register screens and key information into the computer daily
• Exposure to indoor climate control measures
