Actalent is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for an onsite contract-to-hire position in Elk Grove Village, IL. The technician will pick, label, pack, and ship medications and supplies, while maintaining inventory and ensuring accurate dispensing as per PCC instructions.

The role requires an Illinois Pharmacy Technician license or ability to obtain it during onboarding. Typical shifts are 9:30 AM–6:00 PM or 10:30 AM–7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with no weekends.

Qualifications

• Data entry skills required.
• Pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Title

Job Description The Pharmacy Technician plays a vital role in the fulfillment process by picking, labeling, packing, and shipping medication and/or supplies to fill patient orders. This position requires accurately dispensing products as entered by the PCC, as indicated on the delivery ticket and/or prescription labels. Additionally, the technician is responsible for maintaining pharmacy inventory by checking stock and coordinating with the inventory team to ensure necessary supplies and drugs are maintained at required levels. Maintaining a neat, clean, and organized pharmacy stocked with required supplies is also part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Pick, label, pack, and ship medication and/or supplies to fill patient orders.

Work Environment

This role is 100% onsite with training typically lasting around 2 weeks, though it may extend depending on individual progress. Work hours are Monday to Friday, with shifts from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM or 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM. No weekends or holidays are required. Candidates should be flexible with working additional hours if needed, as the expectation is to complete the workload for the day before ending the shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk Grove Village, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
