Job summary

Goose Creek Candle is seeking a reliable Fulfillment Center Picker to support order fulfillment on our seasonal 2nd shift. You will scan barcodes, pick items in the correct quantity, and place them into boxes while maintaining speed and accuracy. You will also help teammates and keep the workspace orderly in a fast-paced environment.

Shift runs 7:30 pm to 4:00 am Monday through Friday with possible overtime; expected start around November and end in January, depending on business needs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Fast-paced workflow with ability to keep up with orders.
• Ability to walk up to 10 miles per day.
• Able to lift 10–20 pounds from floor to waist.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes and pick items in the assigned zone.
• Pick the correct product and quantity and place in the box.
• Ensure orders are picked accurately and quickly.
• Assist teammates and keep the area clean and organized.
• Adapt to changing assignments and priorities.

Job Description and Scope:The job of a Fulfillment Center Picker is to play a part in order fulfillment from start to finish. Fulfillment Center Pickers are responsible for being as accurate as possible when picking the product for the order. This member is also responsible for being as efficient as possible and combining speed and accuracy in the department to which they are assigned. This team member is not limited to one department but can be needed in all departments, even multiple departments per shift.Picking Responsibilities:Scan barcodes on boxes to see what items need to be picked in their desired zonePick the correct product as well as the correct quantity of products and place in the correct boxMake sure all orders are picked accurately and as quickly as possibleHelp other people in the picking department if they are backed up or are picking up set-asidesKeeps area clean and organizedWorks as a team with other team membersMonday - Friday 7:30 pm - 4:00 am with required possible overtime dailyThis is a Seasonal 2nd Shift position, Monday through Friday. Shift hours are 7:30 pm - 4:00 am with possible overtime. The anticipated start date will be Monday, November 2nd. The anticipated end date for this position is Friday, January 8th.
