Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent or 2+ years in fulfillment/food production; leadership or coaching experience preferred.
  • Ability to lead a large team and meet daily productivity goals.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills; bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate a team of up to 75 associates to meet picking/packing productivity goals.
  • Conduct daily pre-shift stand-up meetings for safety and priorities.
  • Monitor performance and coach on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain and analyze productivity using Google Sheets/Docs.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and food safety procedures are followed.
  • Prepare team for shift execution with needed materials and tools.
  • Support handoffs between shifts to maintain flow and accuracy.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new team members.

The Role

The Fulfillment Team Lead plays a critical role in supporting day-to-day fulfillment operations within their assigned work area. This role provides direct leadership to warehouse associates, driving order accuracy and fulfillment metrics, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and food safety standards. The Fulfillment Team Lead partners closely with supervisors and other leads to maintain smooth shift execution, foster an inclusive and engaged team environment, and reinforce our commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience by ensuring every order is picked and packed correctly. The Fulfillment Team Lead is responsible for the team in the absence of the Supervisor. This position reports directly to the Department Supervisor.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and coordinate a team of up to 75 associates, ensuring daily fulfillment workflow distribution, and that picking/packing productivity goals are achieved.
  • Facilitate daily pre-shift stand-up meetings covering safety stretches, order processing priorities, performance expectations, and company updates.
  • Monitor fulfillment performance metrics, provide real-time coaching on picking and packing efficiency, and support associates in developing skills to meet accuracy targets.
  • Maintain, update, and analyze fulfillment-related productivity and operational tools using Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and food safety procedures; escalates issues promptly to supervisors or appropriate leadership.
  • Prepare the team for successful shift execution by ensuring necessary materials, tools, and equipment are available and organized.
  • Coordinate smooth handoffs between shifts to maintain production flow and accuracy.
  • Assist in onboarding, training, and supporting new team members to promote a positive and inclusive workplace.
  • Partner with Supervisors on process improvements, workflow optimization, and resolving daily operational challenges.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
  • Bilingual in Spanish & English is highly preferred.
What You’ll Bring
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule on day or night shift, with shift assignments varying based on business needs.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for up to 8 hours.
  • Comfort working in a facility with various allergens (nuts, wheat, soy, milk, etc.).
  • Strong sense of urgency and ownership over meeting deadlines and production targets.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent work ethic—reliable, punctual, and consistent.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact respectfully and professionally with peers, leadership, and cross-functional partners.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or 2+ years of experience in a fulfillment, e-commerce, or food production environment; previous leadership or coaching experience preferred.
