Job summary

Pregis in Arlington, TX is seeking a hands-on Fulfillment Team Lead to manage multiple machines, oversee setup and maintenance, and ensure on-time delivery within staffing budgets.

You will lead a team in a fast-paced print/bindery environment, drive quality improvements, enforce safety, coordinate with SAP-based reporting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years progressive experience in a printing or bindery environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet production goals and delivery deadlines within budgeted headcount across multiple machines.
• Quality control: inspections to meet specs and testing protocols.
• Oversee setup, operation, repair, and maintenance of fulfillment equipment.
• Enforce PPE policy and safety procedures; conduct safety training.
• Fill daily performance tickets for SAP reconciliation and downtime tracking.
• Participate in cross-functional process improvements and SOPs.

Position: Fullfillment Team Lead

Location: Arlington, TX

Shift (s): Available: 6AM-6PM or 6PM-6AM on a 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule

Works within the fulfillment department, ensuring that the secondary finishing of printed materials meets quality, budget, and schedule requirements within the budgeted headcount. This is a role that requires managing multiple running machines simultaneously. Usually, 2 or more

Key duties and responsibilities

• Production management meet production goals and customer delivery deadlines while adhering to the budgeted number of employees across multiple machines.
• Quality control: Ensure all projects meet quality testing standards as well as customer specifications by performing inspections, ensuring required testing protocols are followed, and monitoring the finishing processes across multiple machines.
• Equipment oversight: Oversee the setup, operation, repair, and preventative maintenance of all fulfillment equipment, including drills, stitchers, and vacuum tables. Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Safety and compliance: Enforce company PPE policy, safety procedures, and regulations, ensuring a safe and organized work environment. Conduct regular safety training and inspections.
• Communication and reports performance by correctly filling in daily job performance tickets for SAP reconciliation and to account for all machine up and down time
• Process improvement: Participate in cross-functional teams to continuously improve production methods, efficiency, and quality. Work with Continuous improvement team and the fulfillment dept. team to create and follow standard operating procedures for set up and running of all equipment in the fulfillment center.

Skills And Qualifications

• Education and experience: 3-5 years progressive experience in a printing or bindery environment.
• Technical skills: Strong knowledge of bindery processes and equipment, including operation, setup, and maintenance.
• Leadership abilities: Proven track record of supervising and motivating teams to achieve production goals and managing production levels to specific KPI’s.
• Organizational skills: Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with staff and other departments.
• Problem-solving: Ability to troubleshoot equipment and production issues efficiently and effectively.
• Attention to detail: A keen eye for detail is critical for ensuring products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Physical demands: The role may require the ability to stand for long periods and lift moderately heavy materials.
