Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a capable associate to pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders in a fast-paced store environment. You will keep staging areas clean and safe while ensuring high quality items and accurate order validation.

You will operate powered equipment and maintain SIMS compliance, collaborating with leadership to resolve short picks. The role emphasizes customer-first service, strong communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer or similar device
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets)
• Powered Equipment Certification for Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (Required; must be obtained if not certified)

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time, maintaining clean, organized staging areas.
• Provide excellent service by selecting high quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and directing customers to the right associates.
• Operate and maintain certification for powered equipment and follow safety requirements.
• Support inventory accuracy using the Orders App and SIMS compliance, collaborating with leadership to resolve short picks.
• Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks such as audits, order follow-ups, and locker management; report safety or theft concerns promptly.
• Contribute to a customer-first culture with strong communication and teamwork; may be assigned other duties as needed.
