Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. in Mount Vernon, IL is seeking a fulfillment associate to pick, stage, and fulfill customer orders while keeping staging areas safe and organized.

You will deliver great service by answering questions, validating orders, and connecting customers with the right associates. You will operate certified equipment and support inventory accuracy using the Orders App, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer.
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Powered Equipment Certification: Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (Required; must be obtained if not already certified).

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
• Deliver excellent service by helping customers and connecting them with the right associates.
• Operate and maintain certification for powered equipment and follow safety requirements.
• Support inventory accuracy using the Orders App and SIMS compliance.
• Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks such as audits and locker management.
• Maintain safety and report concerns promptly.
• May be assigned other duties to support the needs of the business.
