Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Part-time Fulfillment Specialist to support daily operations at our 2899 Powers Ave location. You will be delivering inventory to customer sites and replenishing vending equipment as part of our managed program.

This role is 28 hours per week with a Monday through Friday 7:00am–3:00pm shift. You will interact with customers, place and fulfill orders, and help ensure branch success while upholding Fastenal's values.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the US.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and meet driving record requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn systems.

Responsibilities

OVERVIEW

Embark on your journey as a Part-time Fulfillment Specialist, where you'll take charge of delivering excellence by replenishing inventory solutions and managing our industry leading vending program. If you thrive on being on the move, this role offers a dynamic local route, servicing customer needs daily. From making deliveries, to performing replenishments of our managed inventory programs, and maintaining equipment, you'll be at the forefront of our innovative solutions. This position is for our branch located at 2899 Powers Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32207.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• o Making deliveries with a company vehicle to fulfill inventory at customer sites
• o Performing replenishment and general maintenance of vending equipment
• o Interacting with our customers while making deliveries
• o Placing and fulfilling orders at customer sites
• o Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• o 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
• o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• o Proficient written and oral communication skills
• o Proficient computer skills
• o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
