Job summary

Fastenal Co. seeks a Part-time Fulfillment Specialist for its Montrose, CO location to manage deliveries, inventory replenishment and vending equipment maintenance. You will service customer sites on a local route, interact with customers, place orders, and support branch operations.

The role requires lifting 25–50 lbs (up to 75 lbs), working a 7:00am–5:00pm shift on Mon–Fri with 10–28 hours per week, and adherence to safety and company values.

OVERVIEW

Embark on your journey as a Part-time Fulfillment Specialist, where you'll take charge of delivering excellence by replenishing inventory solutions and managing our industry leading vending program. If you thrive on being on the move, this role offers a dynamic local route, servicing customer needs daily. From making deliveries, to performing replenishments of our managed inventory programs, and maintaining equipment, you'll be at the forefront of our innovative solutions. This position is for our branch located at 2430 N Townsend Ave, Montrose, CO 81401.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Making deliveries with a company vehicle to fulfill inventory at customer sites
• Performing replenishment and general maintenance of vending equipment
• Interacting with our customers while making deliveries
• Placing and fulfilling orders at customer sites
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities

• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous customer service or industry related work experience
