Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Benton Harbor, MI is hiring a Part-time Fulfillment Specialist to support our vending program and local route. You will deliver, replenish inventory, and perform maintenance on vending equipment while engaging customers during deliveries.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, strong communication, a fast-paced mindset, and a team-oriented approach. Training is provided through Fastenal’s School of Business.

Qualifications

Fulfillment Specialist

OVERVIEW

Embark on your journey as a Part-time Fulfillment Specialist, where you'll take charge of delivering excellence by replenishing inventory solutions and managing our industry leading vending program. If you thrive on being on the move, this role offers a dynamic local route, servicing customer needs daily. From making deliveries, to performing replenishments of our managed inventory programs, and maintaining equipment, you'll be at the forefront of our innovative solutions. This position is for our branch located at 2460 M-139, Benton Harbor, MI 49022.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Making deliveries with a company vehicle to fulfill inventory at customer sites
• Performing replenishment and general maintenance of vending equipment
• Interacting with our customers while making deliveries
• Placing and fulfilling orders at customer sites
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Demonstrate attention to detail and strong sense of urgency

• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
• Pass a background check, required by a customer/contract serviced by this location

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous customer service or industry related work experience
