Job summary

Mittera is seeking entry-level Fulfillment Specialists to join our growing team. The role involves processing work orders, locating products, and packing orders for shipment in line with the production schedule and customer specifications.

This position requires a High School diploma or equivalent and basic warehouse knowledge. You will work under guidance to pick, pack, label, and prepare items for shipping, while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiar with picking procedures and basic warehouse procedures.
  • Ability to read specifications and select correct parts for orders.
  • Basic arithmetic and measurement skills.
  • Ability to interpret instructions written, oral, or scheduled.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and safety oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Pick and package materials per procedures.
  • Locate product and assemble into shipping containers.
  • Prepare pallets with labeling and tagging for shipment.
  • Consolidate items for shipment per instructions.
  • Maintain neat work area and equipment.
  • Produce at required quantity and quality standards.
  • Follow production schedule and customer specifications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Mittera is currently seeking motivated individuals interested in joining our growing team as Fulfillment Specialists! This position is entry-level and doesn’t require previous experience. Fulfillment Specialists processes work orders, locates product, and packs orders for shipment in accordance with the production schedule and customer specifications.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Pick and package a variety of materials that require a limited assortment of packing procedures and techniques
  • Place, arrange, mark, seal, and tag items on pallets and in containers, bins, and bulk storage
  • Consolidate various items for shipment in accordance with standard operating instructions
  • Assemble finished products into boxes or containers for shipping
  • Count and sort various product items
  • Perform related tasks such as placing labels on packages and handling boxes in preparation for shipping
  • Ensure accurate shipping information is attached
  • Produces at quantity and quality levels in accordance with production requirements
  • Maintains area, worktables, equipment, and tooling in a neat, orderly condition
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Abilities
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of routine picking procedures, techniques, equipment, and basic warehouse procedures preferred
  • Skilled in reading specifications and identifying the correct parts for fulfilling customer orders
  • Must have demonstrated mechanical ability and ability to use various assembly tools
  • Requires basic arithmetic and skill to measure, count and weigh products and materials
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Must be self-motivated, reliable, and quality, safety oriented
Physical Requirements
  • Requires use of proper body mechanics with pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, squatting, kneeling, and bending
  • Pushing/pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Requires fine motor hand and arm movement, manual dexterity, and coordination
  • Requires near visual acuity
  • Requires working around and operating departmental equipment
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department in the facility
  • Requires the ability to function in a professional manner under stressful circumstances
