Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Part-time Fulfillment Specialist in Albemarle, NC 28001. The role involves delivering inventory to customer sites, replenishing vending equipment, and servicing our managed inventory programs from the Albemarle branch at 1954 E Main St.

Shifts run MON–FRI 7:00am–5:00pm with up to 28 hours per week. Ideal candidates are customer-focused, able to drive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Possess a current valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organization and prioritization abilities.
• Self-motivated, customer-service oriented.
• Lift and carry 25–50lbs, up to 75lbs.

OVERVIEW

Embark on your journey as a Part-time Fulfillment Specialist, where you'll take charge of delivering excellence by replenishing inventory solutions and managing our industry leading vending program. If you thrive on being on the move, this role offers a dynamic local route, servicing customer needs daily. From making deliveries, to performing replenishments of our managed inventory programs, and maintaining equipment, you'll be at the forefront of our innovative solutions. This position is for our branch located at 1954 E Main St, Albemarle, NC 28001.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Making deliveries with a company vehicle to fulfill inventory at customer sites
• Performing replenishment and general maintenance of vending equipment
• Interacting with our customers while making deliveries
• Placing and fulfilling orders at customer sites
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

• 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
