Job summary

Fastenal is seeking a Part-time Fulfillment Specialist to join our Midlothian, TX team, delivering inventory solutions and servicing our vending program. This role involves local routes and daily customer interactions at the branch location.

You will perform deliveries, replenishments, and equipment maintenance while supporting branch operations. The position offers daytime hours, a Mon–Fri schedule, and up to 28 hours per week in a local setting.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state) to use a company vehicle.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and strong sense of urgency.
• Work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork.
• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs.
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY).
• Pass a background check, required by a customer/contract serviced by this location.

OVERVIEW

Embark on your journey as a Part‑time Fulfillment Specialist, where you\'ll take charge of delivering excellence by replenishing inventory solutions and managing our industry leading vending program. From making deliveries, to performing replenishments of our managed inventory programs, and maintaining equipment, you\'ll be at the forefront of our innovative solutions. This position is for our branch located at 501 Burk Hawkins St, Midlothian, TX 76065.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• o Making deliveries with a company vehicle to fulfill inventory at customer sites
• o Performing replenishment and general maintenance of vending equipment

• o Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• o 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
• o Possess a current full valid driver\'s license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• o Proficient written and oral communication skills
• o Proficient computer skills
• o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• o Demonstrate attention to detail and strong sense of urgency
