Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I to support filling and packaging of prescriptions under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to customers.

The role requires attention to detail and adherence to regulations, with responsibilities spanning labeling, inventory management, and collaboration with the team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State licensure/certification for pharmacy technicians.
• PTCB certification preferred.
• 1+ year of related experience.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling appropriate prescriptions.
• Apply labels to packaging, scan and assemble into bins accurately.
• Alert pharmacist on duty of any scanning issues.
• Participate in training and development activities in Fulfillment workflow areas.
• Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply of medication.
• Maintain inventory levels and remove expired meds; organize stock.
• Meet pharmacy’s established accuracy and productivity levels.
• Collaborate with supervisors to keep workflow moving smoothly.
• Maintain a clean, orderly workstation and replenish stock.
• Comply with laws and policies for dispensing medications.
• Other essential duties as assigned.
