Job Summary
Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, the Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I is responsible for filling and packaging prescriptions accurately and in a timely manner for delivery to customers. The role requires flexible work hours, including Monday‑Friday 9am‑5:30pm and rotating weekends (Saturday/Sunday 9am‑5pm). Pay ranges from $16.50 to $22.00 per hour based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling appropriate prescriptions from inventory.
- Apply labels to medication packaging, scan, and assemble into appropriate bins, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Alert the pharmacist on duty when medications fail to scan correctly.
- Participate in training and development activities to gain proficiency in other fulfillment workflow areas.
- Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply of medication; remove expired or unused meds, mark used bottles, and keep inventory neat and arranged in order.
- Assist in physical inventory as needed.
- Consistently meet pharmacy's established accuracy and productivity levels.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and functional areas to maintain smooth workflow.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation, put medications away, and replenish all stock supplies.
- Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies related to dispensing prescription medications.
- Perform other essential functions and duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements).
- Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB).
- 1+ year of related experience, or equivalent knowledge/skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Great attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to excel in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment with multiple simultaneous tasks.
- Quality minded; seeks out errors and verifies accuracy.
