Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy, LLC in Brighton, Michigan is seeking a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill and package prescriptions accurately and timely for delivery to customers. Flexible hours include Monday–Friday 9am–5:30pm and rotating weekends (Sat/Sun 9am–5pm); pay ranges from $16.50 to $22.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements).
  • Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB).
  • 1+ year of related experience, or equivalent knowledge/skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to excel in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment with multiple simultaneous tasks.
  • Quality minded; seeks out errors and verifies accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling appropriate prescriptions from inventory.
  • Apply labels to medication packaging, scan, and assemble into appropriate bins, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Alert the pharmacist on duty when medications fail to scan correctly.
  • Participate in training and development activities to gain proficiency in other fulfillment workflow areas.
  • Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply of medication; remove expired or unused meds, mark used bottles, and keep inventory neat and arranged in order.
  • Assist in physical inventory as needed.
  • Consistently meet pharmacy's established accuracy and productivity levels.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and functional areas to maintain smooth workflow.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workstation, put medications away, and replenish all stock supplies.
  • Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies related to dispensing prescription medications.
  • Perform other essential functions and duties as assigned.
