Job summary

As a Fulfillment Pharmacist at Strive Pharmacy in Tampa, FL, you will deliver exceptional care by reviewing, verifying, and dispensing compounded medications with precision and compliance.

You will perform formula calculations, inspect sterile and non-sterile lots, and work directly with patients and prescribing providers to optimize therapy while upholding Strive Pharmacy’s high standards of quality and safety.

Qualifications

Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday through Friday; 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Compensation Range: $125,000 - $135,000

Position Overview:

As a Fulfillment Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional care by accurately reviewing, verifying, and dispensing custom compounded medications. Working at the intersection of precision and compliance, you will perform technical formula calculations, inspect sterile and non-sterile compounded lots, and partner directly with patients and prescribing providers to optimize therapy and uphold Strive Pharmacy’s highest standards of quality control and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Join the forefront of healthcare excellence, where you'll be:

• Checking entered prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
• Performing calculations to ensure ingredients within a formula are measured and utilized properly
• Visually checking lots compounded in sterile and non-sterile labs
• Visually checking individual prescriptions to ensure color, consistency, and general appearance
• Answering and making clarification phone calls dedicated for pharmacists
• Offering guidance to providers regarding appropriate therapy and dosing for optimal individualized care

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fulfillment experience in a retail setting or equivalent
• Experience in compounding
• Understanding of aseptic technique
• Familiarity with USP guidelines

This position is primarily based in an onsite work environment. The role requires regular periods of sitting, standing, and computer use, with occasional lifting as needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
