Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company is hiring a Warehouse Operator in Austell, GA. You will follow established procedures to receive, inspect, and record goods and to pick, pack and dispatch orders, keeping accurate stock records and preparing shipments.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of related experience, a valid forklift license, and the ability to read, write and speak English. Able to work 8- or 12-hour shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and participate in overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Must possess a valid forklift operator license or be certified before driving a lift truck.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to work 8- or 12-hour shifts, including overtime.

Responsibilities

• Follows established procedures to handle, record and dispatch goods.
• Picks orders, packs, and dispatches outgoing goods and updates stock records.
• Operates forklift to move freight in the warehouse.
• Loads/unloads freight and assists with storage area control.
• Assists with shipping and QA to handle excess/rejected ingredients.
• Ensures security procedures for materials and shipments.
• Assists in inventory control such as cycle counting.
• Familiarizes with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Performs other duties related to GMP, shipping, or maintenance as required.
