Job summary

Local Crafts Group in Columbus, OH is seeking an Operations Lead to support outbound fulfillment and inventory control in our on-site warehouse. The role keeps work moving, troubleshoots issues, reinforces safety and quality expectations, and maintains accurate inventory.

You will coordinate daily picking, packing, and shipping priorities, monitor workload, and provide clear direction on procedures. Experience with NetSuite and Excel is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in production, manufacturing, warehouse, fulfillment, or inventory control.
• Experience coordinating work across multiple operational functions.
• Experience with NetSuite or a similar warehouse management system.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production, inventory, picking, packing, and shipping priorities.
• Monitor workload and constraints; adjust priorities as needed.
• Provide clear direction on procedures and expectations.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement practical solutions.
• Maintain safe, organized warehouse work areas.
• Perform cycle counts and location audits; investigate discrepancies.
• Reinforce labeling standards and inventory rotation.
• Partner with quality, inbound, and outbound teams to resolve inventory issues.
• Provide hands-on direction to troubleshoot process and equipment issues.
• Support onboarding and cross-training; reinforce safety and quality.
• Identify training needs and communicate to leadership.
• Lead by example and step into work when needed.
