Job summary

Oregon Freeze Dry is seeking a Fulfillment Coordinator to lead warehouse operations in our Distribution Center. You will drive safe, accurate order fulfillment and coach a team to meet quality and timeliness targets while coordinating with transportation and customer service colleagues.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Fulfillment operations with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong background in data entry and general computer applications.
• Experience using an ERP system (M3) preferred.
• Experience with EDI (SPS Commerce) order processing preferred.
• Familiarity with various warehouse management systems is preferred.
• Ability to work independently while effectively leading a team.
• Knowledge of warehouse best practices, including picking methods and inventory rotations.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and requirements for warehouse environments.
• Willingness to obtain OFD Foods forklift certification within 3 months (on‑the‑job training provided).

Responsibilities

• Direct daily warehouse activities to ensure all outbound orders are accurately picked, stickered, counted, verified, secured, and prepared for shipment.
• Provide clear daily direction and coaching to employees supporting Order Fulfillment.
• Oversee and train staff in transporting, storing, receiving, shipping, and preparing products and materials.
• Process and oversee receiving, picking, packing, loading, and shipping orders with high accuracy.
• Oversee small‑parcel, international, and hazmat shipments using required software and procedures.
• Ensure shipments with special handling are completed accurately with necessary documentation.
• Identify and reduce sources of shipment errors such as mispicks and mis‑ships.
• Oversee kitting, rework, and repack operations as needed.
• Use ERP (M3) to investigate inventory discrepancies and support stock management.
• Coordinate with Transportation Specialists, Clerks, and Carriers for timely shipments.
• Communicate cross‑functionally with Customer Service, QA, Marketing, and other teams.
• Maintain warehouse conditions meeting USDA/FDA and customer requirements.

Fulfillment Coordinator for our Distribution Center. The Fulfillment Coordinator is a champion of safety and operational excellence. This role directs daily warehouse activities to ensure all outbound orders are accurately picked, stickered, counted, verified, secured, and prepared for shipment. This role supports efficient workflow execution and ensures every shipment meets or exceeds customer requirements for accuracy, quality, and timeliness.

You will get to:

• Prioritize personal and foodsafety as the highest objective, modeling safe behavior and actively leading the team in achieving company safety goals.
• Provide clear daily direction and coaching to employees supporting Order Fulfillment to ensure safe, accurate, and consistent workflow execution.
• Oversee and train staff in a wide range of warehouse functions, including transporting, storing, receiving, shipping, and preparing food and non‑food products, equipment, and materials.
• Perform and support all tasks related to receiving, picking, packing, loading, and shipping orderswhile ensuring team pick‑rate expectations are met.
• Process and oversee small‑parcel, international, and hazmat shipments using required specialized software and procedures.
• Ensure shipments requiring special handling (e., SPS/EDI transactions and customer‑specific coding or labeling) are completed accurately, along with all necessary documentation.
• Identify and reduce sources of shipment errors, including mispicks, mis‑ships, and incorrect routing.
• Oversee and perform kitting, rework, and repack operations as required within the Distribution Center.
• Utilize the current ERP system, M3,to investigate inventory and allocation discrepancies and support accurate stock management.
• Utilize the current ERP system, M3, to monitor and prioritize order picking, ensuring shipments leave by the expected ship date.
• Collaborate effectively with DC Transportation Specialists, Clerks, and Carriers to ensure smooth operations and timely shipments.
• Communicate cross‑functionally with Customer Service, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and other teams across the organization.
• Support additional tasks or assignments in other functional areas as directed by the Order Processing Supervisor or Distribution Center Manager.
• Maintain warehouse conditions that meet or exceed USDA/FDA and customer‑specific requirements, ensuring compliance and audit readiness.
• Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance on a full‑time basis.
• Exhibit professional behavior with internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and aligns with company policies and practices.
• Embody OFD's cultural values and align daily actions with department and company culture.

We are looking for someone who has:
