Job summary

Kroger is hiring for a Fulfillment Center associate to support inbound, outbound and dispatch operations in Romulus, MI. You will receive, transfer, pick, pack, and move customer orders across ambient, chill, and freezer environments to ensure correct orders and high productivity.

You will flex between roles, maintain safety standards, and help leadership drive improvements while meeting performance targets in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Must be flexible to job assignment/schedule changes.
• Ability to read and understand basic numerical data.
• Ability to meet operational targets and performance goals.
• Basic computer/operational systems skills.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Any previous warehouse or fulfillment experience.

Responsibilities

• Inbound: Receive and transfer goods from suppliers into totes.
• Outbound: Pick and pack customer orders in ambient, chill, or freezer environments.
• Dispatch: Assist in loading or moving customer orders throughout the Fulfillment Center.
• Achieve productivity goals and targets.
• Flex between various operational roles within inbound, outbound and dispatch areas.
• Follow safety and quality guidelines to ensure accurate orders and positive customer experiences.
• Report safety concerns and defective equipment to leadership as needed.
