Responsibilities

• Transport materials to and from the work area and assist in fulfilling website orders accurately and on time.
• Assemble gift baskets, hand-pack products, personalize items, and complete custom orders.
• Ensure all item builds meet defined specifications and quality requirements.
• Assist with cycle counts of inventory to maintain accuracy.
• Perform clean-up activities and keep the area clean.
• Maintain quality and safety processes and procedures.
• Operate a pallet jack and follow required safety checks and rules.
• Assist unloading and loading shipments in a timely manner.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure product quality and compliance with food safety standards.
• Complete FSQA training and programs to comply with regulatory requirements and support food safety and quality objectives.
• Promptly report and take appropriate action on any observed or potential food safety hazards, process deviations, or non-conformities to the designated plant supervisor.
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the company’s Food Safety Culture.
• Note: other duties may be assigned by plant management as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift from floor to waist and waist to overhead up to 50 lbs
• Ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs
• Frequent bending, carrying, and twisting/rotating
• 100% walking and standing work positions
• Excellent communication skills in English (speaking, reading, and writing), with or without accommodation

Experience and Work Environment

• Safety-first environment with GMP training on day one and ongoing safety tips
• Dynamic setting with equipment such as automated packing machines, forklifts, and electric pallet jacks
• Active and engaging work with movement, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Climate-controlled environment typical for most roles
• Allergen exposure due to ingredients used in products
• Dress to maintain food safety and hygiene in accordance with GMP
