Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking an Order Picker in the Waxhaw, NC area to pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill orders with speed and accuracy. Maintain clean, safe staging areas and deliver outstanding service to customers by guiding them to the right associates and ensuring quality selections.

You will operate powered equipment, stay SIMS-compliant, and collaborate with leadership to resolve short picks while contributing to overall safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer.
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smart devices.
• Powered Equipment Certification: Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (Required; must be obtained if not already certified).

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time, keeping staging areas clean and safe.
• Deliver excellent service by selecting high quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and connecting customers with the right associates.
• Operate and maintain certification for powered equipment and follow all safety requirements.
• Support inventory accuracy by using the Orders App, maintaining SIMS compliance, and partnering with leadership to resolve short picks.
• Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks such as audits, order follow-ups, and locker management, while reporting safety or theft concerns promptly.
• Contribute to daily duties with a customer-first mindset and strong communication and teamwork.
• May be assigned other duties to support business needs.
