Job summary

San Manuel is seeking a Fulfillment Associate to support daily operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment within casino basement/warehouse areas. The role requires working nights, weekends, and holidays to sustain our 24/7 operations.

You will assist with staging, delivery prep, inventory checks, and event support while upholding company standards. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months of warehouse, customer service, or hospitality experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares high-volume staging and product distribution for promotions and special events.

  • Performs safety-compliant duties; reports any safety violations and maintains equipment as needed.
  • Supports events setup/takedown and kiosk replenishment as needed.
  • Performs other duties to support efficient department operations.

Under the direction of the Supervisor, Fulfillment, the Fulfillment Associate is responsible for supporting daily operations for high-volume Marketing departments, and other departments as needed while consistently representing the company's brand, values, and standards. The location of this position is in the casino and basement / warehouse areas where the environment is fast-paced and exciting. Work hours vary and include nights, weekends, and holidays to support a 24/7 business operation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Prepares high-volume staging and product distribution for promotions and special events. Supports physical unloading, for delivery of all products to appropriate booth and/or staging area. Preparation may include processing requests for events, supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes and verifying inventory count. Take down is also required, which includes, repacking product to prepare for returns and pick-ups, clean-up of area, and communicating vendor shortages/overages to management promptly.
  2. Ensures basement / warehouse is kept in a clean and orderly fashion to enhance and promote safety controls. Gathers and stages all unused pallets and prepares them for recycling. Plans/maps delivery routes to ensure efficiency and timeliness of deliveries.
  3. Responsible for performing duties while keeping area clear of safety hazards and adhering to safety regulations. Follows proper Department and enterprise health and safety policies and procedures at all times. Performs minor preventative equipment maintenance, as needed. Accountable for reporting any safety violations for any real/personal property damage (including enterprise facilities, equipment and structures).
  4. Supports the department with setup/takedown for crowd control practices, special events equipment setup/takedown. May also be required to assist the department with kiosks by replenishing paper, kiosks placement, and crowd control.
  5. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum six (6) months of warehouse, customer service, or hospitality experience required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA)
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS
  • At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
No Driving Responsibilities
  • Role does not require a driver's license or insurance.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ WORKING CONDITIONS - ENVIRONMENT

  • Primary work environment is within both office and basement settings; employee will be exposed to high-heat conditions.
  • Work requires travel to attend meetings, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Incumbents may be required to work evening, weekend and holiday shifts.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
  • Strength sufficient to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or move up to 75 pounds occasionally.
  • Sedentary work: involves standing most of the time. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Physical activities that apply to the essential functions of the position are balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
  • Hearing sufficient to hear conversational levels in person, via videoconference and over the telephone.
  • Speech sufficient to make oneself heard and understood in person, in front of groups, in meetings, via videoconference and over the telephone.
  • Visual acuity that meets the requirements of the position: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading and visual inspection of employees, visitors or facility.
  • Mobility sufficient to safely move in an office environment, walk, stoop, bend and kneel, and enter, exit and operate a motor vehicle in the course of travel to promotional events, meetings, conferences, trade shows and San Manuel properties.
  • Endurance sufficient to sit, walk and stand for extended periods, and maintain efficiency throughout the entire work shift and during extended work hours.
  • The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, including secondhand smoke.
