Job summary

The Thomas Jefferson Foundation in Charlottesville, Virginia is seeking a Seasonal Fulfillment Associate to process web and catalog orders in our distribution center. This role supports our mission by ensuring accurate and timely handling of merchandise.

As a seasonal position, you will join a team that values reliability and attention to detail, with shifts available day and night. Compensation is $15.00–$16.00 per hour and the position runs from July 6, 2026 to December 26, 2026.

Qualifications

• Must possess basic reading, math and computer/data entry skills.
• Must be familiar with UPS, FedEx, and USPS manifests.
• Knowledge of proper box sizes, packing materials, and appropriate shipping methods.

Compensation

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Physical Demands and Work Considerations

• Employee must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of times.
• Employee must be able to lift and carry items up to 24 lbs. on a frequent basis, and occasionally lift and carry items up to 74 lbs.
• This seasonal position will start July 6, 2026 and will end on December 26, 2026.

Education

• High-school diploma or GED preferred.
