The Georgia National Guard seeks a Fuel Distribution Supervisor to oversee POL operations, ensuring safety and compliance during large-force exercises. Candidates must have significant experience in supervisory roles and be eligible for relevant licenses. This position offers a competitive salary and state benefits.
The Georgia National Guard’s Air Dominance Center (ADC), located at the Savannah Combat Training Readiness Center, provides combat aircraft units from across the Department of Defense with an environment for integrated, cross-domain, joint training. Participants can train to exploit the unique characteristics of air, space, maritime, and cyberspace to achieve dominance across various operational environments.
Large force exercises, hosted quarterly at the ADC, involve dozens of aircraft and hundreds of military personnel from across the country. These exercises take place at Savannah's International Airport, utilizing vast instrumented airspace, advanced Air Combat Training Systems, and facilities. Participants live and train at the center for weeks, benefiting from modern conferencing, lodging, and dining facilities. The ADC also hosts national-level meetings with hundreds of attendees.
Supported by full and part-time Air National Guardsmen, federal contractors, and state employees, the ADC is recognized as the premier fighter integration training center in the country and a preferred location for Department of Defense and other federal and state agency conferences.
The ADC is seeking a trained Fuel Distribution Supervisor skilled in interpreting Technical Orders, Air Force Regulations, and Air National Guard Instructions, with experience in Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants (POL) operations, including testing, calculating, and accounting.
