Job summary

Olgoonik is seeking a Fuels Control Center Operator (Dispatcher) for Peterson AFB, CO. The role supports dispatch operations, data collection for inventory, and adherence to emergency procedures.

Regular part-time schedule at Peterson AFB, with domestic travel as needed. The candidate should have 1 year of USAF Fuels experience or equivalent, be able to obtain required certifications within 90 days, and hold or be eligible for an Airfield Competency Card.

Qualifications

• One year of work experience in USAF Fuels or civilian equivalency.
• Must be able to complete fuels military equivalent certified qualifications within 90 days of hire.
• Must obtain and maintain Airfield Competency Card.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of products.
• Demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a team.
• Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
• Must multi-task efficiently with attention to detail.

Overview:

Responsible for the Fuels Control Center.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain the Fuels Control Center to include dispatching, maintaining communication with MOCC and expediter.
• Know all checklist and Emergency procedures.
• Know how to collect data for inventory purposes.
• Other duties may be assigned from time to time.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

• There are no supervisory responsibilities with this position

Education/Knowledge and/or Experience:

• One year of work experience working in a USAF Fuels specialty or civilian equivalency.
• Ability to complete fuels military equivalent certified qualifications within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to obtain and maintain airfield Competency Card.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends.
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite of products including, Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
• Demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a team.
• Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under a minimum of supervision.
• Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects and have a strong attention for detail.

Physical Demands :

The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close and distant vision. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 100 pounds.

Travel :

Domestic travel may be required for training and program coordination.

Work Location :

The employee will primarily be located in Peterson AFB, CO.

Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme heat, near moving mechanical parts and includes occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions and to vibration.
