Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Phoenix is seeking a Fuel Truck Operator / CDL A Driver to fuel equipment in the field across the Phoenix metro area. The role requires operating Class A trucks, delivering fuel safely to storage tanks, fleet vehicles, and machinery, with pre/post-trip checks and strict adherence to DOT and EPA regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL in good standing with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum 2 years of recent trucking experience in field operations.
• Ability to lift and move heavy hoses up to 75 lbs and climb ladders in various weather.

Responsibilities

• Fuel equipment in the field across Phoenix/Metro area.
• Transport fuel safely along local or regional routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and monitor for leaks.
• Maintain electronic or paper logs of driving hours and fuel inventory.
• Communicate clearly with dispatchers and on-site contacts.

Job Summary

The Fuel Truck Operator is responsible for fueling equipment in the field at sites across the Phoenix/Metro area. There will be a $500 sign on bonus after 60 days as well another $500 sign on bonus after 180 days.

Job Responsibilities

• Ability to operate Class A truck/trailer through all types of environments, including off road on job sites
• Transport fuel safely along assigned local or regional routes. Pump gas or diesel directly into storage tanks, fleet vehicles, or machinery
• Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks. Monitor equipment for leaks and ensure proper tank grounding during loading and unloading
• Ability to read and navigate a map
• Perform pre and post trip inspections as required by company and federal regulations
• Operate an electronic log book device for driver's hours of service regulations
• Verify load for accuracy
• Perform inspections at job sites to ensure a safe environment for loading/unloading
• Follow all federal, state, and local DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations. Maintain accurate electronic or paper logs of driving hours, fuel inventory, and delivery tickets.
• Communicate clearly with dispatchers and on-site contacts. Maintain a clean workspace and professional demeanor
• Ability to communicate with customers
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Job Requirements

• Must have a Class A/B CDL in good standing with HazMat AND Tanker Endorsement
• Valid medical card
• At least 2 years of recent trucking experience
• Ability to lift and pull heavy hoses (up to 75 lbs) and climb ladders in various weather conditions
