Job summary

Mericle Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Fuel Truck Driver to deliver fuel to multiple construction sites daily, ensuring on-site storage tanks and heavy equipment are replenished efficiently.

Candidates must hold CDL Class B with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (Class A preferred), be able to lift up to 75 lbs, and pass an MVR report. The role offers comprehensive benefits and strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Experience delivering fuel to construction sites is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Must pass MVR report.

Responsibilities

• Drive fuel truck to replenish on-site storage tanks and heavy equipment.
• Record and report amount of fuel delivered and equipment serviced at each site.
• Periodically assist with moving lifts and small equipment between worksites.
• Assist with sharpening drill bits and other excavation-related activities when needed.

Job description

Mericle Construction, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Fuel Truck Driver to deliver fuel to multiple company sites daily.

Mericle Construction, Inc. is the largest, full-service developer of industrial, office, flex, and medical space along Pennsylvania's I-81 Corridor. Mericle has developed more than 100 buildings in the Scranton/Pittston/Wilkes-Barre/Hazleton area. The Mericle team includes licensed architects, land planners, professional engineers, surveyors, licensed electricians, plumbers, carpenters, leasing and marketing professionals, property managers, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Drive fuel truck to replenish construction on-site storage tanks and heavy equipment.
• Record and report amount of fuel delivered and equipment being serviced at each site.
• Periodically assist with moving lifts and small equipment between worksites.
• Assist with sharpening drill bits and other excavation-related activities when needed.

Qualifications:

• CDL Class B with a Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements (required)
• CDL Class A with a Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements (preferred)
• Must be able to work with diesel fuel
• Must be able to climb, bend, squat, reach, and stand for an extended period of time
• Must be able to pull a hose of up to 75 lbs
• Must pass an MVR report
• Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and ability to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
