Job summary

Jackson Energy Logistics is hiring experienced Class A CDL Fuel Transport Drivers to join our growing team. Local routes keep you home daily, with modern, well-maintained equipment and steady year-round fuel work.

You will safely deliver fuel to retail locations, operate tractor-tanker equipment, perform inspections, and complete required paperwork. We offer safety-focused culture, competitive pay from $80,000 to $135,000 per year, plus bonuses and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of CDL experience with tanker preferred.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Must be 23 years or older with a clean driving record.
• Must pass: DOT physical, drug test, background check, and Jackson driving test.
• TWIC card required in applicable areas.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver fuel to retail locations.
• Operate tractor-tanker equipment.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Load, transport, and unload petroleum products safely.
• Provide professional, customer-focused service.

What You'll Do:

• Safely deliver fuel to retail locations
• Operate tractor-tanker equipment
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections

• Adhere to all safety and compliance standards and complete required paperwork

What You Bring:

• 1+ year recent CDL experience (tanker preferred) and at least 23 years old
• Class A CDL withHazMat & Tanker endorsements
  – Must NOT be restricted to automatic transmissions
  – TWIC card required in applicable areas
• Clean driving record
• Must pass:
  – DOT physical
  – Drug test
  – Background check
  – Jackson driving test
• Strong safety mindset and attention to detail

Physical Environment:

As a Fuel Transport Driver, you must be able to meet the physical demands and environmental conditions associated with the role. Must be capable of meeting the physical requirements necessary to perform essential job functions including:

Ability to perform heavy work:

• Lift/move up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Lift/move up to 50 lbs frequently
• Lift/move up to 20 lbs constantly

• Exposure to offensive odors
• High humidity conditions
• Working around and with heavy equipment
• Working around moving objects and vehicles
