Job summary

Christensen, Inc. in the United States is seeking an experienced truck driver in Oregon to transport petroleum products to customers, verify loads against shipping papers, and maintain duty status records in compliance with DOT regulations.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and handle freight paperwork accurately. Qualified candidates hold a valid Commercial Class A license with tanker, hazmat endorsements, and have at least two years of driving experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Class A driver’s license with tanker and hazmat endorsements.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping papers and maintain driver’s records.
• Excellent knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Transport petroleum products to customers by designated routes.
• Verify loads and paperwork; maintain records of duty status.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects.
• Operate trucks in weather and traffic conditions, including loading/unloading areas.
• Accurately complete paperwork related to freight movements.
