Job summary

MJ Tank Lines, a family-owned bulk petroleum transporter in Southern California, seeks professional CDL Class A Hazmat Fuel Tanker Drivers to join our growing fleet. You will deliver petroleum products safely and efficiently using best-in-class equipment, with a strong emphasis on integrity and independence on the road.

Responsibilities include loading and deliveries, strict safety compliance, pre/post-trip inspections, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements.
• Minimum of 36 months recent and verifiable commercial vehicle experience.
• GVW over 26,000 pounds understanding and operation.
• Pass pre-employment physical, background screening, and drug/alcohol test.
• Current medical certificate with no restrictions.
• Pass road test with a company vehicle.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain loading privileges at Southern California terminals.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Adherence to California labor laws (meal and rest breaks).
• TWIC preferred but not required.
• Experience in petroleum transportation highly preferred.

• Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs.
• Navigate Southern California geography and freeway systems.
• Route around traffic using maps or GPS and coordinate with terminals.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and related equipment.

• Work varying hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Utilize onboard electronics, including ELDs.

• Must possess and maintain a valid Class A driver's license in the state of residence with Tanker and Hazardous Materials (X) endorsements
• Minimum of 36months recent and verifiable commercial vehicle experience
• Experience driving trucks totaling gross vehicle weight (GVW) over 26,000 pounds
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical, background screening, and drug/alcohol test
• Current medical certificate, with no restrictions or limitations
• Must be able to pass our road test with a vehicle chosen by the company
• Must be able to acquire and maintain loading privileges at all Southern California terminals
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
• Adherence to California labor laws (meal and rest breaks)

Compensation

$29.00- $41.00 per hour (depending on years of service and additional premiums for weekend work.)
