Job summary

MJ Tank Lines, a family-owned bulk petroleum transportation company in Southern California, seeks professional CDL Class A Hazmat Fuel Tanker Drivers to join our growing fleet. You will deliver petroleum products safely and efficiently using best-in-class equipment.

Requirements include a valid Class A license with Tanker and HazMat endorsements, 36 months of verifiable CDL experience, ability to pass pre-employment screening and physical, and willingness to work varied hours, weekends, and

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid Class A CDL with Tanker (X) and HazMat endorsements.
  • Minimum 36 months recent, verifiable CDL experience.
  • Experience driving GVW over 26,000 pounds.
  • Must pass pre-employment physical, background, and drug/alcohol test.
  • Current medical certificate with no restrictions.
  • Must pass company road test and maintain loading privileges in Southern California.
  • TWIC preferred but not required.
  • Experience in petroleum transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Load and deliver per company and legal guidelines, using safety equipment and established procedures.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
  • Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs.
  • Navigate Southern California geography and freeway systems.
  • Route around traffic and hazards using maps or GPS.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and related equipment.
  • Promote company core values and integrity.
  • Work varying hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Utilize onboard electronics/ELDs.

We are a family-owned bulk petroleum transportation company located in Southern California, seeking highly professional CDL (Class A) Hazmat Fuel Tanker Drivers to join our growing fleet. Our drivers are responsible for delivering various petroleum products to our customers in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. We provide best-in-class trucks and equipment and are looking for motivated professionals to help us grow. Responsibilities
  • Load and make deliveries in accordance with company and legal guidelines, including proper use of safety equipment and following established procedures
  • Perform required pre and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs
  • Navigate Southern California geography and freeway systems
  • Route around traffic and hazards utilizing maps and/or GPS
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and other related equipment as necessary
  • Promote company Core Values and Integrity
  • Work additional varying hours, which may include weekends, holidays, and overtime
Qualifications
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Class A driver's license in the state of residence with Tanker and Hazardous Materials (X) endorsements
  • Minimum of 36months recent and verifiable commercial vehicle experience
  • Experience driving trucks totaling gross vehicle weight (GVW) over 26,000 pounds
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment physical, background screening, and drug/alcohol test
  • Current medical certificate, with no restrictions or limitations
  • Must be able to pass our road test with a vehicle chosen by the company
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain loading privileges at all Southern California terminals
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Adherence to California labor laws (meal and rest breaks)
  • TWIC (Transportation Worker's Identification Credential) preferred but not required
  • Experience in petroleum transportation highly preferred
Compensation

$29.00- $41.00 per hour (depending on years of service and additional premiums for weekend work.)
