Job summary

StationServ is seeking a Construction Install Tech to lead the installation of underground and above-ground fuel storage tanks, dispensers, and related equipment in Jackson, Mississippi. This full-time technical role involves heavy labor, tool maintenance, site safety, and coordination with craft workers.

Preferred candidates may hold an Underground Storage Tank (UST) license or be willing to obtain one; high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions.
• Ability to remain flexible as assignments change.
• Ability to work effectively with a variety of personalities.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for counting and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled workers with installing underground and above-ground fuel tanks and systems.
• Unload materials and distribute them per supervisor, plans or specs.
• Assist with layout by measuring, marking, and recording openings and grades.
• Prepare and account for tools and materials for skilled workers.
• Clean and prepare specific areas of the jobsite, including digging and scaffolding.
• Operate hand and power tools and small equipment.
• Direct traffic near work zones.
• Signal equipment operators to help with machinery alignment and movement.
• Clean the jobsite at day’s end and store materials and equipment properly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
