Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions.
• Ability to remain flexible as assignments change.
• Ability to work with a variety of personalities.
• Basic arithmetic skills for counting/inventory.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled workers in installing underground and above-ground fuel tanks and systems.
• Unload materials and distribute them as directed by supervisor or plans.
• Assist with layout by measuring openings, distances, and grades.
• Prepare and account for tools and materials for skilled workers.
• Keep the jobsite clean, safe, and organized daily.
• Operate hand and power tools and small equipment.
• Direct traffic near, in, or around work zones and coordinate with operators.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
