SME Solutions, LLC. is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform maintenance on fuel dispensers and related systems in the Pacific Northwest. Training is provided, with emphasis on safety and professional growth.

The role offers fully paid training and certifications, a company vehicle, paid travel time, and benefits including medical, life, and a 401k plan. Shifts are Mon-Fri and various schedule options with overtime and on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• No formal education or trade school required.
• Mechanical skills with hand and basic power tools.
• Basic computer skills to use laptops, iPad, and phones.
• Hobbies in mechanical, automotive, electrical, carpentry relevant.
• Knowledge of plumbing and electrical concepts preferred.
• Prior field experience and customer interaction preferred.
• Experience in construction, automotive, manufacturing, plumbing, HVAC, electrician, maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on fuel dispensers (Wayne, Gilbarco, etc.).
• Use hand tools and power tools for maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and repair dispenser leaks; replace O-rings, gaskets, piping fixtures.
• Assist with tank monitoring and sump pump operations; install/replace sump pumps.
• Perform pressure testing; replace meters, filters, faulty components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues at dispensers or POS systems.
• Follow job documents and safety protocols; take notes and update systems.
• Maintain a well-organized company vehicle; travel to sites daily; overtime and paid travel.
