Job summary

United Uptime Services in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Light Duty Construction Technician to support fueling system installations, concrete work, and general maintenance on petroleum projects. You will operate trucks and heavy equipment, maintain safety standards, and ensure project readiness in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel occasionally.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
Pass a drug test and background check is required.
Class A CDL is preferred, but the right candidate will be sponsored for certification.
Experience in construction work and heavy equipment operation is a plus.
Willing to travel occasionally and work out of town.

Responsibilities

Conduct work on construction projects, concrete removal and replacement, manhole and spill containment replacements.
Framing, pouring, mixing, and finishing small portions of concrete.
Operate equipment such as company work truck, skid steers, forklift, and man-lift while following safety protocols.
Ensure safe housekeeping practices and job cleanup at the end of each day.
Maintain tools and equipment to keep them in proper, safe condition.
Verify accuracy and compliance of tasks with codes, project specifications, and manufacturer requirements.
Create and maintain professional relationships with peers, work groups, clients, and supervisors.
