Job summary

JF Petroleum Group in Virginia seeks a VDOT Service Technician to install, maintain and repair fuel dispensers, submersible pumps, and site controllers across commercial stations. Travel throughout Virginia is required, with after-hours service calls as needed.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, and ensure compliance with fire, OSHA and EPA rules while delivering quality customer service to customers on site.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Familiarity with computer operations and willingness to learn computer skills.
• Gilbarco Dispenser certification and Veeder Root Tank Monitor certification preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Physical requirements: ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain & repair fuel dispensers, submersible pumps and site controllers.
• Perform service calls, after-hours work and travel within Virginia.
• Diagnose, repair and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Ensure compliance with fire, OSHA and EPA rules and provide quality customer service.
• Assist with start-up and commissioning of equipment where needed.
