Job summary

JF Petroleum Group is seeking a VDOT Service Technician to install, maintain and repair fuel dispensers, submersible pumps, site controllers, and related equipment across Virginia. The role includes field service, after-hours calls, and keeping safety and regulatory standards.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and be eligible to work in the United States; certifications such as Gilbarco and Veeder Root are preferred. Travel and safety compliance are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED required.
• Familiarity with computer operations and an aptitude for learning computer skills.
• Gilbarco Dispenser certification and Veeder Root Tank Monitor certification preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform field service tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work in a safe manner and comply with fire safety, OSHA, and EPA rules.
• Observe, analyze, and determine action for service and repair of equipment.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on fuel dispensers, pumps, and site controllers.
• Travel throughout Virginia as required and support after-hours service calls.
• Maintain tools and follow customer safety and housekeeping guidelines.
