Job summary

Hays Mill Oil is hiring a Service Attendant to deliver friendly, efficient customer service at our on-site service station and convenience store. The role covers cashiering, fuel service, food handling, stocking, cleaning, and general operations to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

The position requires reliable, punctual team players who can balance customer-facing duties with stock and safety procedures. Both full-time and part-time shifts may be available to meet daily operations.

Qualifications

• Professional customer service aptitude.
• Ability to handle cash and provide correct change.
• Ability to learn and operate POS systems and fuel-related equipment.
• Capable of working independently and in a team.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and reporting hazards.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with courteous, professional service.
• Assist customers with fuel purchases and pump operation.
• Provide full-service fueling when required and dispense fuel safely.
• Monitor fuel pump areas and report spills, malfunctions, safety concerns.
• Respond to customer questions or complaints and escalate when needed.
• Follow procedures for difficult or unsafe customer situations.
• Maintain awareness of store and service area safety.
