Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Fuel Cashier to join our store team in Amarillo, TX. You’ll deliver friendly, efficient service while handling cash and card transactions at the POS.

You’ll multi-task with merchandise, shower reservations, and communications, while following safety guidelines and prioritizing customers based on needs. Early mornings, nights, weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer/POS knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, prompt service to customers at the POS.
• Process cash, checks, and card transactions accurately.
• Multi-task transactions with merchandise, truck scales, shower reservations, and communications.
• Prioritize work based on customer and management needs.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations.
• Communicate effectively with leaders and co-workers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
