Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Fuel Cashier to join our travel center team. You will operate the POS register, process fuel and merchandise transactions, and ensure a high standard of customer service to every guest.

You’ll handle cash and card payments while maintaining a positive, efficient attitude in a busy environment. The role requires flexible hours, including nights and weekends, with opportunities to grow within TA’s network and benefit from comprehensive health and retirement

Qualifications

• Experience with POS systems preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Process fuel and merchandise transactions at the POS.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a friendly attitude.
• Handle cash, checks and credit card payments.
• Multi-task transactions across merchandise, shower reservations, and communications.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations.
• Establish rapport with leaders and co-workers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
