Job summary

Country Store is seeking a part-time associate to greet customers, operate fuel pumps, take payments, and maintain station cleanliness. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong customer service orientation, and good written/spoken English.

You will navigate websites and emails as part of daily tasks and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Shifts include evenings and weekends; Sunday through Saturday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers.
• Operate fuel pumps and fill vehicle tanks with gasoline or diesel fuel.
• Collect payments from customers and provide receipts.
• Check oil levels, wash windshields and replace wipers.
• Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of the fuel station and surrounding area.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues to maintain service quality.
• Demonstrate punctual and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Greet and assist customers. Answer questions and provide directions.
• Operate fuel pumps and fill vehicle tanks with gasoline or diesel fuel.
• Collect payments from customers and provide receipts. Making change or charge purchases to credit cards or accounts.
• Check oil levels, wash windshields and replace windshield wipers.
• Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of the fuel station and surrounding area.
• Exhibit an ability to receive feedback, adapt to new processes and continuously develop skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to collaborate, communicate well and effectively relay information with an emphasis on developing positive professional relationships.
• Practice punctual and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at a gas station, retail store or similar environment.

Part-time, typically 24-32 hours/week. Sunday through Saturday. Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.
