Job summary

H&S Energy Group is seeking a Fuel Attendant & Customer Service Representative to support the day-to-day operations of the store and fueling station. You will assist customers inside and outside the store, operate pumps safely, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment while upholding safety standards.

This role involves customer service, cash handling, fueling duties, and teamwork to ensure efficient store operations and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail or fuel service preferred.
• Basic understanding of fuel safety procedures.
• Propane training may be required by state/local regulation.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, providing a welcoming and positive experience.
• Deliver efficient, friendly service at checkout and during fueling interactions.
• Provide assistance with fueling, propane dispensing, and other customer needs.
• Handle inquiries or concerns and escalate to management as needed.
• Safely operate fuel pumps and propane dispensers in compliance with safety regulations.
• Verify proper fuel types and pump markings to prevent contamination.
• Monitor fueling area for leaks, spills, or hazards and report incidents to management.
• Follow safety protocols, including emergency fuel shutoff procedures.
• Maintain training and certifications related to fuel and propane handling.
• Keep interior and exterior areas clean and well-maintained.
• Assist with deliveries, stocking, and merchandise rotation.
• Support promotions and follow company policies.
• Collaborate with team to achieve store goals.
