Overview

Join to apply for the Fuel Pricing Analyst role at Kum & Go.

As a Fuel Pricing Analyst, you’ll help keep our gas prices competitive and profitable while supporting one of Maverik’s biggest revenue drivers. You’ll monitor fuel markets, analyze performance data, and adjust prices that directly impact sales, margins, and customer experience. This position will be on-site at our Salt Lake City, UT headquarters. Hybrid Office: 4 days in office, 1 day optional work from home.

Responsibilities

Identify and champion pricing opportunities that promote company goals.
Foster interdepartmental collaboration with Fuel Supply, Solar Logistics, Fuel Facilities, In-Store Pricing, and Operations to understand roles, objectives, trends, and strategies.
Coordinate daily with wholesale and supply counterparts to ensure execution of fuel sales and margin targets for assigned markets.
Analyze and report fuel margin and sales (actual vs. projected), including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual recaps and forward-looking projections for assigned markets.
Manage daily price changes, customer discounts, and retail price advertisements.
Represent the Fuels team in interdepartmental committees/teams as assigned.
Apply strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving, and sound reasoning to support business objectives.
Leverage data analytics to derive actionable insights, create and refine predictive models, and implement data-driven solutions to optimize business outcomes.

Role Requirements

This role is cell phone stipend eligible and supports a 24/7 operation. Occasional after-hours, weekend, or holiday work is required to support the business and respond to urgent issues or service calls.
Occasional travel may be required for team meetings, training, or special projects.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Data Analysis, Mathematics, Statistics or related discipline preferred.
Experience: 1+ years of experience in data analytics, financial analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
Introductory knowledge of SQL and R or Python.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Experience with Google Looker preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $75,000 - $85,000 + DOE and Bonus Opportunities
