Menzies Aviation at Chicago O'Hare (ORD) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain airport infrastructure components in outdoor environments. You will diagnose issues using test equipment, manufacturer specs, and industry standards while following safety policies and maintaining thorough records.

The role requires 18+, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
High school diploma or GED, or two years related experience.
Must pass pre-employment tests, including a drug test.
Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs.
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
Ability to read and interpret safety/maintenance documents.
Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
Willing to work variable shifts, including overtime, weekends and holidays.
Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Diagnose problems using test equipment, statistics, and blueprints.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain pumps, valves, vessels, hydrant pits, gauges, switches, motors, lights, heaters, meters, hoses, etc.
Follow safety policies and procedures and maintain records.
Support Gauger position as necessary and comply with attendance policy.
Perform other duties as assigned.
